Jakarta – The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across companies continues to expand, but at the same time, cyber threats are rising sharply. Adi Rusli, Country Manager of Palo Alto Networks Indonesia, revealed that on average, companies suffer losses of up to USD 5.2 million due to ransomware attacks.
“Even more concerning, it takes only about 25 minutes for attackers to steal and exploit company data,” said Adi during the Virtus Showcase 2025 discussion in Jakarta on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
He noted that this highlights how the speed of cyberattacks far exceeds the response readiness of many organizations.
