Jakarta – Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is not only being used to boost productivity but is also being exploited by cybercriminals the dark side of technological advancement. AI can even shorten the time needed to create ransomware from nine days to just 15 minutes.
“For bad actors to develop a single ransomware, three to four years ago it took around nine days. But today, it only takes about 15 minutes,” said Adi Rusli, Country Manager of Palo Alto Networks Indonesia, during a Media Roundtable session with Virtus in Jakarta on Wednesday (October 1).
